SHARJAH / RankWire.AI / – Low-cost airline Air Arabia revealed a strategic expansion of its Southeast Asian routes on Friday. The airline will increase flight frequencies between the United Arab Emirates and Thailand. Starting October 25, 2026, the airline will add a fourth daily non-stop flight from Sharjah International Airport to Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok. This schedule change raises the weekly non-stop flights on the Sharjah-Bangkok route to 28, offering more flexibility for leisure and business travelers. Air Arabia increases Bangkok flights to four daily from Sharjah to meet rising regional travel demands across commercial corridors.

The new Bangkok services complement the airline’s existing schedule to Thailand, which includes 21 weekly non-stop flights between Sharjah and Phuket. With the addition of the fourth daily flight to Bangkok, Air Arabia will operate a total of 49 weekly non-stop flights between its main hub in Sharjah and destinations in Thailand. This route expansion strengthens air links between the Arabian Gulf and key Southeast Asian tourism and trade hubs.
Official fleet disclosures show the route will be served by Airbus A320 and Airbus A321 aircraft. The single-aisle planes feature cabin configurations designed for passenger comfort while maintaining low-cost operations. Onboard amenities for the route include the SkyTime free in-flight streaming entertainment system and the SkyCafe catering service. As aviation operators across the Middle East expand international networks ahead of the busy winter season, Air Arabia is increasing Bangkok flights to four daily from Sharjah.
Air Arabia Boosts Bangkok Service to Four Daily Flights
In an official statement, Air Arabia Group CEO Adel Al Ali highlighted the importance of the Thai market within the airline’s international network. Al Ali said the expansion reflects continued passenger demand for affordable flights between the UAE and Southeast Asia. He also explained that offering four daily flights to Bangkok alongside Phuket services provides travelers with more options and helps position Sharjah as a key regional aviation hub.
Industry analysts note that this increased capacity aligns with broader economic and tourism integration between the Gulf Cooperation Council and East Asian economies. The extra daily flight offers more departure times, making connections easier for passengers from hubs across the Middle East, North Africa, and the Indian Subcontinent.
Enhanced Service Levels Come Ahead of Peak Winter Travel Season
Passengers booking the new flights starting October 25 can earn and redeem points through the airline’s AirRewards loyalty program. Tickets for the fourth daily flight are available via official channels, travel agencies, and online booking platforms.
Regulatory authorities and airport authorities in Sharjah and Bangkok have adjusted operational schedules to support the additional flights. All operations will follow the international bilateral aviation agreements between the UAE and Thailand.
